Hari overhears his father talking about a corrupt act in his government job and a murder that his dad committed. The father tried to hide the body after the murder. He had killed the guy in an auto rickshaw during a heated conversation and later paid the auto driver, who worked for him, to take care of the body. The auto driver moved the body on a hand rickshaw with a jute bag on top. He then dumped the body in a landfill. Before Hari could do anything about this, he woke up to find his dad dead and a bag of cash stolen from his father’s safe.

Heena is kicked out of her house by her husband who blames her for not bearing him a child. She finds out through her maid that in fact, her husband has received a medical report stating his impotence. He is simply taking out his frustration on her. In a fit of rage, Heena then destroys some of the property in the house and runs away with just a bag of her personal belongings. She uses her skills as a runner to get away faster than her husband to get hold of her.

Later, Hari, a government officer himself, joins hands with Heena, his best friend, to catch the gang that forced his dad into corruption and took away his money. Hari proposes to meet them at a spot and collects half of the money in the pretence of being corrupt himself. He meanwhile informs the cop.

There are other people at this building when cops get there. They start searching everybody for signs of being the members of the corrupt gang. They investigate Hari first but find nothing on him. He had somehow hidden his money already. The gang also manages to get out of the clutches of the cops. Heena who was waiting outside, decides to tail them. She directs the cops towards them.

Hari realises that Heena is still stuck. He texts her to get away from the gang and find him at the canal. Heena’s call helps the cops arrest the gang this time except for one guy. This guy spots Heena tailing them and chases her on foot after escaping the cops. She runs from the place and manages to reach the canal with this guy a few meters behind her. After a long and tiring foot chase, Heena finds Hari approaching her on an ATV. He tackles the rogue and pulls Heena onto the ATV. As they escape along the canal, Hari ditches the ATV to switch to a motorboat right after.

Heena and Hari board the boat. She shouts at him for leaving the money unattended on the boat. He assures her he plans to use it to catch the rest of the gang. Heena is reluctant to go ahead with him any more until he tells her that her ex-husband leads this gang. She is convinced. But starts asking a lot of questions right away. He shuts her this time with a gentle kiss.
